Creatively Crafty Link Party #196
Happy November, everyone! I’m loving all the gorgeous fall colors on the trees when I take my walks. Speaking of color how awesome are these tartan plates?
I’ve only done a couple decoupage projects but they are so much fun I’d like to do more. Did you know you can decoupage fabric? This week’s featured project from Stefanie of The Style Safari is glass plates decoupaged with plaid fabric. I love these for a holiday table and immediately I thought about the possibilities of other fabrics, even lace. My second thought was, “You know who has clear glass plates? The dollar store…”
Stefanie says these can be gently washed by hand. I would try not to get the fabric wet. With care, they should last through the holidays and perhaps beyond.
While you’re visiting The Style Safari be sure to check out the sewing tab for lots of dressmaking tips!
Welcome to the Creatively Crafty Link Party hosted by the Creative Crafters Blogging Group! You’ve worked hard on your project, and it looks great! Share it with us and get the kudos you deserve! Any and all creative endeavors are welcome…crafts, original writing, recipes, DIY tutorials, you name it!
On to the party!
Do you have anything creative you’d like to share? We’d love to see it. Browsing through the projects is a pleasant part of my week! Thank You for sharing your creativity with us. Each week we will sponsor a new link party, and pin our favorites. With so many bloggers participating that means more exposure for YOU! Head over to the other co-hosts blogs to see all their fun stuff. Check them out here:
Thanks for sharing your project with us! Keep an eye out as we’ll be sharing posts on various social media channels during the week. We’re growing and that’s a good thing, although as the party gets larger it will be more difficult for me to visit and comment on every link. So I’m counting on you guys to help out. Please try to find time to visit a link or two yourself and congratulate your fellow crafters on a job well done!
There are just a few simple rules:
-Link to a specific post, not your home page.
-Link up something YOU made/wrote/created.
-Giveaways, other link parties, Etsy shops or business links are not accepted.
-Don’t link and run. Try to visit at least one link and show them some love. You may make a new friend.
Please do not pin from these thumbnails. If there’s a post you want to pin please click on the link title to visit the source and pin from their blog. Not a blogger? No problem! Anyone with an Instagram or Facebook account can link to a photo of your completed masterpiece or work in progress. Could you do us a favor and share the party on Twitter before linking up?
