Creatively Crafty Link Party #221
Today’s feature comes at a good time. Due to the coronavirus, many of us have had to cook at home. For some of us, it’s a challenge! Fortunately, Lisa of Drugstore Divas has some great advice for cooking our own meals.
I am aware this may be a difficult time for many people. Some haven’t worked in over a month and are anxiously watching their bank balance. Others may be working from home AND taking care of small children AND helping older children with schoolwork. Drugstore Divas has lots of great tips to help people save money. Browse the site for recipes, travel tips, crafts and DIYs designed to maximize fun for minimal money.
Last Sunday the government of Spain allowed children under 14 to go outside for the first time in over 40 days. The rules were 1 parent/up to 3 children/within a 1 km radius from home. I don’t think anyone followed the rules exactly, but I’ve read of fines being levied on families that dared to go out with both parents.
Good news, though. The rest of us are allowed to go out for exercise starting on Saturday. Not being able to go for a walk has been the most trying part of this whole quarantine. Sure, we could go to the farthest grocery store, but the police have been on the lookout for people who were “pretending” to shop.
For now, I’m going to be grateful for a chance to walk by the river.
Welcome to the Creatively Crafty Link Party hosted by the Creative Crafters Blogging Group! You’ve worked hard on your project, and it looks great! Share it with us and get the kudos you deserve! Any and all creative endeavors are welcome…crafts, original writing, recipes, DIY tutorials, you name it!
On to the party!
Do you have anything creative you’d like to share? We’d love to see it. Browsing through the projects is a pleasant part of my week! Thank You for sharing your creativity with us. Each week we will sponsor a new link party, and pin our favorites. With so many bloggers participating that means more exposure for YOU! Head over to the other co-hosts blogs to see all their fun stuff. Check them out here:
Thanks for sharing your project with us! Keep an eye out as we’ll be sharing posts on various social media channels during the week. We’re growing and that’s a good thing, although as the party gets larger it will be more difficult for me to visit and comment on every link. So I’m counting on you guys to help out. Please try to find time to visit a link or two yourself and congratulate your fellow crafters on a job well done!
There are just a few simple rules:
-Link to a specific post, not your home page.
-Link up something YOU made/wrote/created.
-Giveaways, other link parties, Etsy shops or business links are not accepted.
-Don’t link and run. Try to visit at least one link and show them some love. You may make a new friend.
Please do not pin from these thumbnails. If there’s a post you want to pin please click on the link title to visit the source and pin from their blog. Not a blogger? No problem! Anyone with an Instagram or Facebook account can link to a photo of your completed masterpiece or work in progress. Could you do us a favor and share the party on Twitter before linking up?
oh my goodness, how awful to not be able to go outside, wow, I can’t imagine! Thank you Lydia and I hope things continue to improve and you can enjoy your walks again…
Thank you SO MUCH for featuring my post. I was hoping that it would help people who are cooking more (or for the first time!) because of the state of the world. And thank you even more for the kind words about my blog. This crisis has really impacted people financially, and I hope my blog can help people who need it right now or who are just trying to save now because the future is so uncertain.
