Creatively Crafty Link Party #105

The sweet dollhouse from Adrienne at Wonderful Creations brought back so many memories! When I was a kid in the 70s there was a play set called The Sunshine Family that encouraged making your own furnishings and clothes for the dolls. My sister and I suspect our mother bought the starter set as much for her as for us but nevertheless we had as much fun making the furnishings from recycled/repurposed items as we did playing with the dolls!

Adrienne has an excellent tutorial that will inspire you to make and decorate your own dollhouse. How would you decorate yours?

Welcome to the Creatively Crafty Link Party hosted by the Creative Crafters Blogging Group! You’ve worked hard on your project, and it looks great! Share it with us and get the kudos you deserve! Any and all creative endeavors are welcome…crafts, original writing, recipes, DIY tutorials, you name it!

Thanks for sharing your project with us! Keep an eye out as we’ll be sharing posts on various social media channels during the week. We’re growing and that’s a good thing, although as the party gets larger it will be more difficult for me to visit and comment on every link. So I’m counting on you guys to help out. Please try to find time to visit a link or two yourself and congratulate your fellow crafters on a job well done!

There are just a few simple rules:

-Link to a specific post, not your home page.

-Link up something YOU made/wrote/created.

-Giveaways, other link parties, Etsy shops or business links are not accepted.

-Don’t link and run. Try to visit at least one link and show them some love. You may make a new friend.

Please do not pin from these thumbnails. If there’s a post you want to pin please click on the link title to visit the source and pin from their blog. Not a blogger? No problem! Anyone with an Instagram or Facebook account can link to a photo of your completed masterpiece or work in progress. Could you do us a favor and share the party on Twitter before linking up?

  1. I too was a 70’s kid and I remember, when my parents would buy us tiny dolls, (which were so precious to me those days) I would make my own little doll home out of shoe boxes and chairs for the house out of match boxes etc. We had to be innovative to create our own toys. It was actually good. Kids, these days, have everything so readily served to them – feel sorry for them – they really dont know how to think out of the box.
Thank you for the lovely party.

You’re right, although I was always a little envious of my neighbor who had the Barbie Townhouse with working elevator AND Barbie’s corvette! Have a great week 🙂

Such a cute little doll house idea! My sister had a HUGE one that she was kind enough to let me play with. We had the best time with that thing and my grandmother loved to spoil us with new pieces for it all the time.
