Creatively Crafty Link Party #273
I’ve mentioned a couple times about reading the Wheel of Time series of fantasy books by Robert Jordan. Well, I turned the final page last week. Now I find myself with empty hands. I do have a single SKYP sock to finish, but I’m not into it right now. Luckily, the perfect project came along in Hello Sewing’s Laptop Sleeve.
Thanks to the covid stimulus, I’m the proud owner of a new (larger) laptop, and it needs its own case. Helen’s project isn’t exactly what I’m looking for but the tutorial will be very helpful in creating my own. I’m planning to use the many fat quarters hanging out in my stash to quilt the outer cover and use one of those lap blankets they give you on international flights for the interior. The blanket may be too bulky for what I have in mind, but we’ll see when I dig it out. It’s somewhere in my craft room…
Hello Sewing is loaded with fun projects suitable for all levels of sewists. Drop by and check it out!
Welcome to the Creatively Crafty Link Party hosted by the Creative Crafters Blogging Group! You’ve worked hard on your project, and it looks great! Share it with us and get the kudos you deserve! Any and all creative endeavors are welcome…crafts, original writing, recipes, DIY tutorials, you name it!
On to the party!
Do you have anything creative you’d like to share? We’d love to see it. Browsing through the projects is a pleasant part of my week! Thank You for sharing your creativity with us. Each week we will sponsor a new link party, and pin our favorites. With so many bloggers participating that means more exposure for YOU! Head over to the other co-hosts blogs to see all their fun stuff. Check them out here:
Thanks for sharing your project with us! Keep an eye out as we’ll be sharing posts on various social media channels during the week. We’re growing and that’s a good thing, although as the party gets larger it will be more difficult for me to visit and comment on every link. So I’m counting on you guys to help out. Please try to find time to visit a link or two yourself and congratulate your fellow crafters on a job well done!
There are just a few simple rules:
-Link to a specific post, not your home page.
-Link up something YOU made/wrote/created.
-Giveaways, other link parties, Etsy shops or business links are not accepted.
-Don’t link and run. Try to visit at least one link and show them some love. You may make a new friend.
Please do not pin from these thumbnails. If there’s a post you want to pin please click on the link title to visit the source and pin from their blog. Not a blogger? No problem! Anyone with an Instagram or Facebook account can link to a photo of your completed masterpiece or work in progress. Could you do us a favor and share the party on Twitter before linking up?
Thank you Lydia!
Thanks for hosting.
Thank you so much for featuring my laptop sleeve tutorial, Carol. I’m so glad to hear it came up just in time to help you make your own
