Creatively Crafty Link Party #271
Check out this inspiring towel and bathing suit rack from MM at Coastal Bohemian. She found a squid carving at the flea market then painted it and created a beautiful distressed backdrop for mounting. The entire piece looks fabulous on their balcony.
What a fun place to hang wet towels, bathing suits and anything else that needs to dry before bringing it inside! Drop by Coastal Bohemian for lots of crafts, upcycle and DIY projects with a beachy flair!
The time has come for Rick and me to return to Spain. I’m typing this between spurts of packing and last minute tasks to complete before we leave.
Today’s task was to drive for 2 hours to get a rapid PCR test required to enter the country. There were no places closer to us that provided the type of test we needed with a rapid turn around. The test itself was quick and painless and the company (Sameday Testing, available in many states) did an excellent job of keeping us informed via email and text.
We were also able to schedule vaccination in our state. It’s been rather impressive how the state of Maryland has made use of mobile technology for scheduling and public buildings as well as pharmacies to distribute the doses to our fellow citizens.
It’s a long flight across the Atlantic, but I’m prepared with the final two books from the Wheel of Time fantasy series by Robert Jordan. I started reading them back in February! I also have to finish a pair of Simple SKYP socks. I’ve had one lonely one waiting around for me to make its match, hahaha. I’ll have plenty to do!
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
Welcome to the Creatively Crafty Link Party hosted by the Creative Crafters Blogging Group! You’ve worked hard on your project, and it looks great! Share it with us and get the kudos you deserve! Any and all creative endeavors are welcome…crafts, original writing, recipes, DIY tutorials, you name it!
On to the party!
Do you have anything creative you’d like to share? We’d love to see it. Browsing through the projects is a pleasant part of my week! Thank You for sharing your creativity with us. Each week we will sponsor a new link party, and pin our favorites. With so many bloggers participating that means more exposure for YOU! Head over to the other co-hosts blogs to see all their fun stuff. Check them out here:
Thanks for sharing your project with us! Keep an eye out as we’ll be sharing posts on various social media channels during the week. We’re growing and that’s a good thing, although as the party gets larger it will be more difficult for me to visit and comment on every link. So I’m counting on you guys to help out. Please try to find time to visit a link or two yourself and congratulate your fellow crafters on a job well done!
There are just a few simple rules:
-Link to a specific post, not your home page.
-Link up something YOU made/wrote/created.
-Giveaways, other link parties, Etsy shops or business links are not accepted.
-Don’t link and run. Try to visit at least one link and show them some love. You may make a new friend.
Please do not pin from these thumbnails. If there’s a post you want to pin please click on the link title to visit the source and pin from their blog. Not a blogger? No problem! Anyone with an Instagram or Facebook account can link to a photo of your completed masterpiece or work in progress. Could you do us a favor and share the party on Twitter before linking up?
The squid rack is super cool! Thanks for hosting Lydia!
Hope you have a safe and wonderful journey and stay in Spain.
