Creatively Crafty Link Party #269
Thanks to covid and the need to renew our passports, Rick and I spent a longer period of time in the US than we normally do. I don’t recall it raining this much when we lived here full time! The yard still hasn’t completely dried up and we had to postpone replacing the roof on our detached garage because it was too wet for the crew to get their equipment back there. Meanwhile, my daughter has been homeschooling her two sons and the wet weather put a cramp in a lot of their plans, too.
That’s why I was glad to see this “oldie but goodie” post from Natasha at Serenity You. She shared a round up of 45 rainy day activities for preschool children to about 8 or 9 years old. Perfect for entertaining the grandsons whether the weather cooperates or not!
You’ll want to drop by and browse all the fun craft posts.
The last week of Lent has arrived and my Lenten social media fast will be drawing to a close. To be honest, I haven’t felt the lack. I have been able to chat with people I care about through Messenger, Text or E Mail. They kept me up on the latest memes and any important news. Together we came up with a solution to free that cargo ship from the Suez Canal and commiserated over the death of someone in our extended circle.
I’m still slogging through the Wheel of Time series of books by Robert Jordan. I’m currently on Book 11, the last one published before Jordan’s death. I hope to finish the remaining novels by the end of April. And then I’ll treat myself with Diana Galbaldon’s newest, Go Tell The Bees That I Am Gone. She’s finished writing it and expects a couple months of going through the publishing process. Fans of Outlander will just have to be patient!
Rick and I wish everyone a delightful weekend with people who love you.
Welcome to the Creatively Crafty Link Party hosted by the Creative Crafters Blogging Group! You’ve worked hard on your project, and it looks great! Share it with us and get the kudos you deserve! Any and all creative endeavors are welcome…crafts, original writing, recipes, DIY tutorials, you name it!
On to the party!
Do you have anything creative you’d like to share? We’d love to see it. Browsing through the projects is a pleasant part of my week! Thank You for sharing your creativity with us. Each week we will sponsor a new link party, and pin our favorites. With so many bloggers participating that means more exposure for YOU! Head over to the other co-hosts blogs to see all their fun stuff. Check them out here:
Thanks for sharing your project with us! Keep an eye out as we’ll be sharing posts on various social media channels during the week. We’re growing and that’s a good thing, although as the party gets larger it will be more difficult for me to visit and comment on every link. So I’m counting on you guys to help out. Please try to find time to visit a link or two yourself and congratulate your fellow crafters on a job well done!
There are just a few simple rules:
-Link to a specific post, not your home page.
-Link up something YOU made/wrote/created.
-Giveaways, other link parties, Etsy shops or business links are not accepted.
-Don’t link and run. Try to visit at least one link and show them some love. You may make a new friend.
Please do not pin from these thumbnails. If there’s a post you want to pin please click on the link title to visit the source and pin from their blog. Not a blogger? No problem! Anyone with an Instagram or Facebook account can link to a photo of your completed masterpiece or work in progress. Could you do us a favor and share the party on Twitter before linking up?
Thanks for hosting.
