This week’s feature from Liberty of B4 And Afters will bring back memories for many of us. This upcycled hard bottomed crocheted tote was all the rage back in the day. I recall my sister, cousins and I each had one to carry for Easter. They were made by my Nana. I love how Liberty transformed her upcycled container by giving it a coat of spray paint and then crocheting the top of the tote with a coordinating yarn. This would make a good project bag, wouldn’t it? Or maybe a lunch pail. Either way, have fun with it!

On a personal note, Rick and I are back in the US after a very long trip. We’re in the process of catching up with friend and family.
