Red and White Paper Stars For A Patriotic Display {Creative Craft Bloggers Challenge}
Last Updated on August 2, 2017 by lydiaf1963
This month’s Creative Craft Bloggers Challenge has the theme Red, White or Blue. I decided to revisit a fun origami craft from Christmas, folding paper stars.
You can use just about any type of paper for this. I chose sheets of red and white and if I’d been able to find the right shade of blue I would have made a couple more. The are so many possibilities with a project like this. Besides a tabletop display you could make a garland or attach a thin dowel and add them to plants. Stack a bunch of small stars in a pretty bowl for a centerpiece.
Once you get the hang of making them, the stars come together easily. Follow the video instructions at Homemade Gifts Made Easy and you’ll have a bunch assembled in no time!
As mentioned, this is a challenge for members of the Creative Craft Bloggers Group. We do a monthly challenge, host a weekly link party called Creatively Crafty and support each other on social media. If you’re interested in joining, drop me a line in the comments and we’ll help you get started.
