Creatively Crafty Link Party #94
Claire at Pillar Box Blue has another simple but beautiful project that will make a beautiful display this winter. You won’t need a drill or an outlet for these easy lanterns because the LED lights are powered by a battery in the cork! They’d look awesome lighting my hallway. You have to drop by Claire’s blog and check out her use of fabrics, maps and wall paper to decorate her home. She’s very talented!
Today is Thanksgiving Day in the United States. Rick and I ordered a turkey breast from the local poulterer and will cook that along with a few other favorite side dishes. It will just be the two of us. Friday marks the big push to Christmas. They have Black Friday here in Spain, too. The stores have been changing their displays and the public areas have been decorated. From Friday until Epiphany in January the shops will be very busy and the streets and bars will be full of people. It’s a fun time, to be honest. The energy is very different here; more festive than frenetic.
Before we get to the party I want to tell you about a great opportunity. I’m an affiliate for Ultimate Bundles and they are currently hosting a huge giveaway that’s tailored specifically for those of us who are drawn to textile crafts like knitting, sewing, crochet, embroidery and weaving. This is a lead up for the Handmade With Love Super Bundle that will be released on Cyber Monday, November 27, ending Dec 4. The giveaway is worldwide and features several prizes within each textile category…the prizes will be drawn every day until the window for purchasing the bundle closes.
There are some incredible items to be given away: a Cricut Maker, a Brother Embroidery/Sewing Machine, a weaving bench, an Ott Lite Floor Lamp and so much more! Click the banner below to read more about how the giveaway works and you will also be notified when the Handmade With Love Super Bundle is available. The banner opens in a new tab so you won’t lose your place here. Good luck to everyone who enters!
Welcome to the Creatively Crafty Link Party hosted by the Creative Crafters Blogging Group! You’ve worked hard on your project, and it looks great! Share it with us and get the kudos you deserve! Any and all creative endeavors are welcome…crafts, original writing, recipes, DIY tutorials, you name it!
On to the party!
Do you have anything creative you’d like to share? We’d love to see it. Browsing through the projects is a pleasant part of my week! Thank You for sharing your creativity with us. Each week we will sponsor a new link party, and pin our favorites. With so many bloggers participating that means more exposure for YOU! Head over to the other co-hosts blogs to see all their fun stuff. Check them out here:
Thanks for sharing your project with us! Keep an eye out as we’ll be sharing posts on various social media channels during the week. We’re growing and that’s a good thing, although as the party gets larger it will be more difficult for me to visit and comment on every link. So I’m counting on you guys to help out. Please try to find time to visit a link or two yourself and congratulate your fellow crafters on a job well done!
There are just a few simple rules:
-Link to a specific post, not your home page.
-Link up something YOU made/wrote/created.
-Giveaways, other link parties, Etsy shops or business links are not accepted.
-Don’t link and run. Try to visit at least one link and show them some love. You may make a new friend.
Please do not pin from these thumbnails. If there’s a post you want to pin please click on the link title to visit the source and pin from their blog. Not a blogger? No problem! Anyone with an Instagram or Facebook account can link to a photo of your completed masterpiece or work in progress. Could you do us a favor and share the party on Twitter before linking up?

Thank you so much for featuring my bottles and your kind words. I’m in the UK so no turkey for me until Christmas but looking forward to getting my decorations up next week.
Thanks for hosting! I’ll be avoiding all stores on Black Friday and through most of the holiday season. I do think it feels more frantic than festive and try to stay away from the crowds here in the states. Today is the day we decorate our house and put up our trees.
Thank you for this wonderful party! -Journa, from team lolliyjane
