Creatively Crafty Link Party #63
Last Updated on April 20, 2017 by lydiaf1963
Welcome to the Creatively Crafty Link Party hosted by the Creative Crafters Blogging Group! You’ve worked hard on your project, and it looks great! Share it with us and get the kudos you deserve! Any and all creative endeavors are welcome…crafts, original writing, recipes, DIY tutorials, you name it!
In the year since we bought a sewing machine, my daughter and I have built our skill set to the point where we thought we could handle a fun quilt. You know the expression about biting off more than you can chew? It’s taken us longer than we anticipated to make it, and we had to recruit my sister to help with some of the tracing and cutting. We’ve learned a lot, which I’ll detail in a later post, and we’re finally at the point where all of the squares are made and it’s time to sew the quilt top together. The youngest grandson is supervising in this photo.
Here’s this week’s featured post!
When Leen was clearing her father’s home, she came across an old table that belonged to her grandfather. She did a fantastic job refinishing it to complement her home and give her a table large enough to seat 10 people. It looks lovely, doesn’t it? Drop by her blog (use Google translate) and see how she rescued this beauty from the garage.
On to the party!
Do you have anything creative you’d like to share? We’d love to see it. Browsing through the projects is a pleasant part of my week! Thank You for sharing your creativity with us. Each week we will sponsor a new link party, and pin our favorites. With so many bloggers participating that means more exposure for YOU! Head over to the other co-hosts blogs to see all their fun stuff. Check them out here:

Thanks for sharing your project with us! Keep an eye out as we’ll be sharing posts on various social media channels during the week. We’re growing and that’s a good thing, although as the party gets larger it will be more difficult for me to visit and comment on every link. So I’m counting on you guys to help out. Please try to find time to visit a link or two yourself and congratulate your fellow crafters on a job well done!
There are just a few simple rules:
-Link to a specific post, not your home page.
-Link up something YOU made/wrote/created.
-Giveaways, other link parties, Etsy shops or business links are not accepted.
-Don’t link and run. Try to visit at least one link and show them some love. You may make a new friend.
Please do not pin from these thumbnails. If there’s a post you want to pin please click on the link title to visit the source and pin from their blog. Not a blogger? No problem! Anyone with an Instagram or Facebook account can link to a photo of your completed masterpiece or work in progress. Could you do us a favor and share the party on Twitter before linking up?

Have a wonderful day, Lydia!
Thanks, Emily!
Wow, your quilt is going to be beautiful. What a fun project to make as a family.
Thanks! Most of the squares were sewn with a baby or a toddler in the lap of whomever operated the sewing machine. It’s been fun, but I’ll be glad when it’s finished, hahaha 🙂
