Hello you creative people! Welcome to Week 6 of the Creatively Crafty Link Party hosted by the Creative Crafters Blogging Group! We’re excited for St. Patrick’s Day and warmer weather and can’t wait to see what you share with us this week! This morning I didn’t have to wear a hat during my morning jog. Since December, I’ve been working my way up to running a full 10K (6.2 miles). I’ve grown to like running in the cold, it doesn’t take long to feel warm and I don’t feel like I am struggling to breathe. So while I welcome the warmer weather, I know I don’t like to exercise when the humidity rises and it feels like breathing through a washcloth. Hopefully the mornings will remain pleasant.
On the home front, I’ve finished my ongoing shawl project and will be blocking it today. I’ve been sharing my progress here and on Instagram. Keep an eye out for the full reveal soon! In addition, my sister and I have been experimenting with painting mandalas and other things on rocks. It’s been…interesting… In retrospect we should have gone with paint markers, but we’re having fun with brushes and acrylics.
