Creatively Crafty Link Party #277

Joy from Artful Homemaking shared a tutorial for making the classic Grandmother’s Favorite Dishcloth pattern. This brings back memories as it was one of the first projects I ever made. Later, I made a baby blanket from the same pattern using chunky yarn and large needles. It was a hit!

I love the earth tones Joy has chosen. These are a great Summer project thanks to their small size. Since their washcloths, non-wool yarns like cotton and bamboo are good choices. These yarns are also good for knitting in the heat and humidity.

Be sure to drop by to check out Joy’s tutorial video and find out more about her yarn selections. This project is perfect for a beginning knitter and make great presents, especially when packaged with a nice soap or body scrub.

It’s hard to believe Memorial Day Weekend is upon us and Summer has un-officially begun! Where I live in Valladolid it’s still quite cool on some days. There’s an expression: “No te quites el sayo hasta la cuarenta de Mayo.” In English, “Don’t put your jacket away until the 40th of May.” Well, the 40th of May (June 9th) will be here soon. Warmer weather is coming, and we’re all happy for it!

Welcome to the Creatively Crafty Link Party hosted by the Creative Crafters Blogging Group! You’ve worked hard on your project, and it looks great! Share it with us and get the kudos you deserve! Any and all creative endeavors are welcome…crafts, original writing, recipes, DIY tutorials, you name it!

On to the party!

Do you have anything creative you’d like to share? We’d love to see it. Browsing through the projects is a pleasant part of my week! Thank You for sharing your creativity with us. Each week we will sponsor a new link party, and pin our favorites. With so many bloggers participating that means more exposure for YOU! Head over to the other co-hosts blogs to see all their fun stuff. Check them out here:

 Try it – Like it

Thanks for sharing your project with us! Keep an eye out as we’ll be sharing posts on various social media channels during the week. We’re growing and that’s a good thing, although as the party gets larger it will be more difficult for me to visit and comment on every link. So I’m counting on you guys to help out. Please try to find time to visit a link or two yourself and congratulate your fellow crafters on a job well done!

There are just a few simple rules:

-Link to a specific post, not your home page.

-Link up something YOU made/wrote/created.

-Giveaways, other link parties, Etsy shops or business links are not accepted.

-Don’t link and run. Try to visit at least one link and show them some love. You may make a new friend.

Please do not pin from these thumbnails. If there’s a post you want to pin please click on the link title to visit the source and pin from their blog. Not a blogger? No problem! Anyone with an Instagram or Facebook account can link to a photo of your completed masterpiece or work in progress. Could you do us a favor and share the party on Twitter before linking up?

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!
