Creatively Crafty Link Party #265

Last Updated on March 4, 2021 by lydiaf1963

Before the lockdowns occurred I was noticing a trend in the little cafes Rick and I like to visit. Many of them had living walls where live grasses, succulents or mosses were grown in a vertical structure. Green walls were being installed in the city, too. I love the look, but they seem like a lot of work.

Libbie at A Life Unfolding has a perfect compromise. She demonstrates how to make a quick DIY textured wall hanging using a recycled frame and floral moss and lichens. Drop by to see how she made it.

I am finished with Week 2 of my Lenten Social Media fast. This week I find myself leaving my phone near the charger. A couple times I left the house without it. It was annoying to realize my grocery list was on my phone and my phone was at home, but hopefully I won’t do that more than once or twice.

It would be nice to say I’ve had a big burst of creativity which has resulted in a totally clean and organized home, all my craft projects completed and a year’s worth of blog posts all ready for publication.

It would be nice.

In truth, I’ve been re-reading a series of fantasy novels in anticipation of their screen adaptation. For those interested, it’s the Wheel of Time series (affiliate link) of fourteen (!) novels that will be available as a series on Amazon Prime later this year.

In between books I’m taking an online Fundamentals of Accounting course. Why? To learn the mysteries of double entry accounting and bookkeeping. It seems like a useful skill to have.

Welcome to the Creatively Crafty Link Party hosted by the Creative Crafters Blogging Group! You’ve worked hard on your project, and it looks great! Share it with us and get the kudos you deserve! Any and all creative endeavors are welcome…crafts, original writing, recipes, DIY tutorials, you name it!

On to the party!

Do you have anything creative you’d like to share? We’d love to see it. Browsing through the projects is a pleasant part of my week! Thank You for sharing your creativity with us. Each week we will sponsor a new link party, and pin our favorites. With so many bloggers participating that means more exposure for YOU! Head over to the other co-hosts blogs to see all their fun stuff. Check them out here:

 Try it – Like it

Thanks for sharing your project with us! Keep an eye out as we’ll be sharing posts on various social media channels during the week. We’re growing and that’s a good thing, although as the party gets larger it will be more difficult for me to visit and comment on every link. So I’m counting on you guys to help out. Please try to find time to visit a link or two yourself and congratulate your fellow crafters on a job well done!

There are just a few simple rules:

-Link to a specific post, not your home page.

-Link up something YOU made/wrote/created.

-Giveaways, other link parties, Etsy shops or business links are not accepted.

-Don’t link and run. Try to visit at least one link and show them some love. You may make a new friend.

Please do not pin from these thumbnails. If there’s a post you want to pin please click on the link title to visit the source and pin from their blog. Not a blogger? No problem! Anyone with an Instagram or Facebook account can link to a photo of your completed masterpiece or work in progress. Could you do us a favor and share the party on Twitter before linking up?

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!
