They say April showers bring May flowers…I say ENOUGH ALREADY!!!! We’ve had nearly and entire week of rainy, cloudy gloominess with just enough sun to remind you of better weather to come. It stopped raining long enough on Monday to dry the grass out sufficiently to cut it. There were lawnmowers running all over the neighborhood! I’ve enjoyed my visit with the family, but I’m ready to head back to sunny Spain. The sun is out over there and we probably won’t have much if any rain until October.

And now…the Featured Post!

In the warm weather you’ll see many women wearing espadrilles in Spain and for good reason. They’re stylish and comfortable and go with just about any summer apparel. That’s why I’ve chosen this collection of crochet espadrilles from Happy In Red for this week’s feature. I’m sure I’ve seen both soles alone and kits for making these at the local craft store. My only problem would be picking a color!
