Creatively Crafty Link Party #112

Well, my long journey back to the United States is over and I’m getting settled back in. I’m ready to hug and kiss my grandsons. The furry grandchild is happy to give me doggie kisses but it’s just not the same.

For this week’s feature I chose an interesting project for repairing chipped veneer so it can be painted. Keri from Keri Keeps Up used an product called Bondo to fill the areas where her antique vanity lost the veneer. After filling the bad spots she was able to sand the Bondo into a paintable surface. So many times I’ve come across an fab piece that needs a lot of love to repair the damaged areas. Now that Keri has shared her technique, I’ll look at those pieces with a different eye. Be sure to click thru to her vanity reveal, too. It turned out wonderfully!
