Creatively Craft Link Party #130

Mary from The Boondocks Blog shares how to give an old side table a new look with a little paint and a stencil. She tried to sell the old look table at a yard sale and couldn’t get any takers so she decided to freshen it up a bit. The final result is so pretty. It reminds me of painted pottery  and fits with her decor very well.

While you’re checking out her new table, be sure to browse through her other posts. She’s a marvel with a little paint, a little fabric or some other object that many people would overlook.

I’m writing this post ahead of time. Tomorrow I’m leaving my unfinished kitchen to head back to Spain. Why, you may ask? Because I had already changed my ticket once based on the information given to us regarding our order. Guess who’s cabinets took a week long detour to another state? Fortunately, Rick is staying behind to take care of the little odds and ends and to oversee the counter top installation. I have to brag on my husband a little bit. He did the lion’s share of the work installing the cabinets. My part was to “supervise” and hand him tools. He saved us several thousand dollars by being willing to do the work himself. My son will handle moving all the stuff back into the cabinets (he lives here full time so he should set up the kitchen to suit him.)

Thanks for sharing your project with us! Keep an eye out as we’ll be sharing posts on various social media channels during the week. We’re growing and that’s a good thing, although as the party gets larger it will be more difficult for me to visit and comment on every link. So I’m counting on you guys to help out. Please try to find time to visit a link or two yourself and congratulate your fellow crafters on a job well done!

There are just a few simple rules:

-Link to a specific post, not your home page.

-Link up something YOU made/wrote/created.

-Giveaways, other link parties, Etsy shops or business links are not accepted.

-Don’t link and run. Try to visit at least one link and show them some love. You may make a new friend.

Please do not pin from these thumbnails. If there’s a post you want to pin please click on the link title to visit the source and pin from their blog. Not a blogger? No problem! Anyone with an Instagram or Facebook account can link to a photo of your completed masterpiece or work in progress. Could you do us a favor and share the party on Twitter before linking up?
